NEWS & EVENTS
Seniors! Completed FAFSA applications are due by March 1st!!! LCC will offer financial aid advice and FAFSA help at a workshop on Tuesday Feb. 20 from 1-3 p.m. Check your gmail for more info. Also, we will have volunteers to help with FAFSA completion sometime during the school day between Feb. 20-22. Continue to apply to colleges of your choice, file/complete your federal student financial aid form (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov, and fill out as many applications as you can for scholarships that you may qualify for. Keep checking your school Gmail account for specific scholarships I will send you information about and other things college/post-secondary education related. Update me with information on where you have applied, if you have been accepted yet, when you have completed the FAFSA, and/or if you have been awarded any scholarships! I have started a “tree of knowledge” on the wall near the vending machines. When you have finalized your decision on where you plan on going after high school graduation, stop by and see me. You will get a leaf or an owl to write your name and college you plan on attending on that will be added to the tree. As always, my door is open for you to pop in anytime to discuss anything “college” related!
